Archival historyWilliam Fraser, lived at Garrybank, Invergarry, later moving to Canniesburn Square, Bearsden, where he lived for many years. He married Helen (Nell) Allan on 9 December 1910, and the couple had several children: Helen (b 1911), Alistair, Margaret, John and Catherine. He was a joiner for the Garscube Estate, from at least 1919 until about 1947. During the First World War he was a Private in the 4th Cameron Highlanders National Reserve, and during the Second World War he became a special constable.
