Admin history/BiographyThe Caurnie Angling Club was instituted in 1925 and is still in existence today. Initially the Club had no home water, but fished in Loch Ard, the Corrie Dam, Banton Loch, the Forth, Kelty, Endrick, Clyde, Teith, Blackwater and Isla. Between 1940 an 1944 they were given permission by Sir George Stirling to fish Glorat Waters and in 1943, after over 15 years of negotiation, the Burgh of Kirkintilloch allowed the Club sole fishing rights of Antermony Loch where they continue to fish today.
