TitleChristening Robe
DescriptionWhite Christening robe. Long sleeves trimmed with lace. Fastened at back with button, hook and eye. Decorated at fromt with Ayrshire cutwork and at the hem with Ayrshire flower motif lace. Decorated at neck with lace trim.
Used by the Douglas family between 1900 and 1960 in Bishopbriggs for chistenings of several generations of the Douglas family.
