The photo case is damaged. There is a bronze coloured buckle, which is attached to the top lid of the case, with its counter part missing. The case is wooden, covered in lather like burgundy material on the outside with eand bright purple velvet on the inside of the lid, with decorative embossed floral motives. The case has decorative details on the outside with simple embossed lines, on both sides. The ambrotype is in a very good condition.
