TitleWedding Dress
DescriptionWedding Dress. Deep purple colour with cream lace details.
Front: Full length skirt with half length overskirt edged with french knot embroidery same shade as skirt and contrasting lighter purple. 5 threaded buttons 1.5cm diameter. Belt at waist. Overskirt edged with velvet and stitched down. Tailored sleeves edged with french knot embroidery in contrasting lighter purple and pleated frill. Velvet cuffs with 2 decorative threaded buttons. Same as on skirt and lace frill. Fastened with 2 metal poppers. Decorative thread buttons same as skirt and cuffs. Lace fastened to lining with 4 metal poppers and lining fastened with 12 metal hook and eyes. High lace collar edged with black fastened with 5 metal hooks. Lace attached to velvet with 2 hooks and 3 dangling balls as detail at neckline. Bodice has pleat detail either side of velvet detail from waist over shoulder in taffetta panels.
Back: Skirt full length with pleat detail and weghted. Edged with velvet and french knot detail, french knot detail extending in 2 rows up centre of overskirt back to waist. Waist has belt detail, with velvet centre at back with 2 decorative taffetta buttons 2 cm in diameter. High lace neckline edged with velvet. Taffetta panels from front come over sholdre to finish at velvet waistband and edged with french knot detail.
