John Cameron

John Cameron, co-founder of Cameron and Roberton and owner of the South Bank Iron Works, which they named after its location on the south bank of the Forth & Clyde Canal. A large exporter, they pioneered the manufacture of sanitary castings and continued in operation until 1981.
