Archival historyBaldernock Churchyard is in three sections which are:-
1) the old churchyard, formerly the propert of the heritors and vested in Stirling County Council under the Church of Scotland (Property and Endowments) Act 1925
2) the new burial ground situated to the north of the old churchyard, gifted in 1897 by Thomas Ripley Ker of Dougalston to trustees designated by him and laid out as a burial ground at the expense of the trust
3) new burial ground situated to the south of the old churchyard, gifted in 1924 by Thomas Ripley Ker of Dougalston (son of the first T R Ker) to trustees and laid out as a burial ground by them.
The management of the old churchyard was in the hands of the Western No 3 District Council and subsequently control of the other sections passed to Stirling County Council as well.
