Letter from Wm Coutts to Father written "Somewhere in Bulgaria". Apologises for interrupted correspondence. Mentions receiving several letters and a parcel which he is grateful for, although it was missing a cake. Acknowledges several letters- talks of receiving food, how Bessie's letters are getting 'awful good' and that he fancies taking up Art School after the war. Informs his father that he hasn't heard from 'South St.', that he doesn't need more fruit salad and agrees that men who go in for commission should see Active Service first.
