Letter from Wm Coutts to Father in which he mentions that they have finished the boat journey- includes a sketch of the view from his port-hole as they arrived. Travelled by railway to Tiflis where they joined the 1st Battalion Royal Scots "whose personnel we took over". Some of "their 1914/15 men are not away yet"- expected to leave soon. Rumours that they will again be moved as the Italians will be coming to form the Army of Occupation. Mentions his delight at having strawberriesmp; cream.
